Vocalist is a voice-powered Todoist assistant. It allows you to create tasks in Todoist using your voice. You can record your tasks by clicking the "Start Recording" button and speaking your task. Vocalist will then create a task in Todoist based on your recording.

Yes, Vocalist is free to use. You can create tasks in Todoist using your voice without any cost. However, you need to have a Todoist account to use Vocalist. Premium features may be added in the future.

Vocalist uses OAuth 2.0 to authenticate with Todoist. This means that Vocalist does not store your Todoist username or password. Instead, Vocalist uses a token provided by Todoist to access your account. This token is stored securely and is only used to create tasks in Todoist. Vocalist can add task, but not delete or modify them. It also accesses project names to be able to add tasks to the correct project, but cannot delete or modify projects.

Vocalist does not store any of your data. The audio recordings are processed in real-time and are not stored on the server. The transcription of the audio is used to create a task in Todoist and is not stored. The only data stored by Vocalist is the token provided by Todoist to access your account. This token is stored securely and is only used to create tasks in Todoist.
